It’s no secret that food prices are more expensive then ever. Many people who once could afford to put food on the table are now finding it increasingly difficult to do so. As the holiday season approaches we want to make sure that our local food pantries are prepared to serve those in need. That is why we have started our Ton of Food Drive this fall. Our goal is to raise 2000lbs of food to donate to the St. Cloud Food Bank. 2000lbs might seem like a big goal, and granted it is but put it in this perspective. If 100 families give just 20 cans of food we would reach our goal. As we look forward to this holiday season lets not forget those in our own community who will struggle to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for their families. You can bring your donations to the church and place them on the stage. Each week we’ll update you on how close we are to the goal and enjoy seeing the pile grow. Join us as we continue to strive after our vision of love God, love others.
The St. Cloud Food Pantry Is located at 901 Missouri Ave. in St. Cloud. The operating hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
